Slack Bot for NFL Stats

We are excited to announce our Slack Bot for NFL stats is live in the free Add More Funds slack chat! Now you can access advanced NFL stats like air yards, aDOT, target % and even redzone targets mid stream in conversation without missing out on what's being said.

This is our first series of enhancements we're proud to bring forward that helps integrate tools and data within the community. We've always thought our best asset was our users and community, the tools were just always a bonus. The things we look forward to bringing to you in a seamless, integrated approach moving forward has us very excited about what's to come. Some FAQs about the bot and how it works below.

What NFL stats are available in the slack bot?

Currently we have the slack bot available to give you results for individual players for receiving and rushing NFL stats.

How do I use the slack bot?

Step 1 is to join our free slack. It's literally free... like what are you even doing if you're not in there yet?

Once in slack, in whatever channel you'd like you can queue up the bot to return information to you. They are separate commands and you simply type:

This will return a private result only visible to you so you can do it in channel and not worry about it disrupting conversation but also so you can apply context to a particular player that's being talked about.

Will there be slack bots for other sports?

We are looking at adding other sports later but our focus will be on these two main stat categories for now and building additional parameters to build from it such as a specific week or ranges of weeks like "last 4 weeks". In addition we hope to be able to add other cool things like leaders for specific stats and all sorts of stuff so stay tuned and consider supporting on Patreon to help make these updates come faster!

Can I use the Add More Funds slack bot in my own slack?

We've talked about it and are open to the idea. If you have your own slack community and interested in having this bot in your channels, reach out @AddMoreFunds on Twitter or message Mat in slack.

Will you create a discord version of this bot?

We don't currently have any plans as our community is primarily in slack but if we started offering this to other slack groups, we would consider a Discord bot as well depending on the situation.
