NBA Top Shot Price Alerts
February 28, 2021 · Mat Houchens · NBA
So far, the NBA Top Shot tools that we've built have been focused on data grids and charts. Because we track the historical lowest ask price for moments, we are able to bring you price alerts for NBA Top Shot.
How can I setup price alerts for NBA Top Shot moments?

On the same tool you've been using, you'll now see a new column on the left with a bell icon. When you click this icon for whichever moment you're interested in receiving a price alert on it will initiate a modal for you to enter the details for your alert. Such as, the price you want to be notified about and if it goes above or below that. You'll also set how you want to be notified.

Two Options to Receive Price Alert Notifications
We currently support two options to receive the price alert:
- Add More Funds Slack Bot - you'll have to join our slack group to take advantage of this feature but by installing slack on your phone and joining our group, you'll get mobile notifications about prices.
- Desktop/Chrome Notifications - this doesn't work on mobile and for desktop computers only.
We are looking into other methods such as SMS and other mobile friendly features but for now, these are your two options.
IMPORTANT: To receive these alerts, you'll want to make sure you update your settings in your account with your slack email address and turn on the ability for AMF to send you desktop notifications.
How often are the price alerts looking at the marketplace?
When there is an active price alert on a moment, we are looking every minute to see if the price has changed and whether it qualifies to send you an alert. This may change in the future but for now, we're trying to let you know as quickly as we can if there's a moment that goes below or above a certain price that you have set an alert on.
How many price alerts can we have?
Free users will be allowed to have just a single alert.
Supporters will be able to have unlimited alerts (for now... we may have to limit if people abuse this and set alerts for hundreds of moments).
How can I tell which moments I have price alerts on?

The first column of the data grid has a filter option that you can change to "Set" and it will filter to only the moments you have a price alert set for.
- Grey Bell - no price alert
- Blue Bell - alert is set but not actively within range.
- Red Bell - your price alert is active within the range you've set.
If you have a price alert set and click the bell icon, you'll be taken directly to the current alerts tab within the modal to manage your alert. From here you can choose to delete the alert should you wish to do so.

Let us know what you think about this cool new feature!
